South Brunswick

The dance "Moonlight Over Spring River" is performed by Josephine Yan's adult class during the Chinese Heritage School Chinese New Year celebration at Crossroads Middle School in South Brunswick.

South Brunswick Township is the fastest growing municipality in Middlesex County, and the third fastest growing community in the state.

This diverse, suburban community covers some 42 square miles and tries to maintain its rural roots. The township has purchased more than 600 acres of open space in the last three years, and is poised to buy 900 more acres in the next several years.

The large geographic area of the township is broken down into several distinct and flourishing sections, including Kendall Park, Dayton, and the historic village of Kingston.

The town boasts an outstanding Blue Ribbon school system and excellent municipal services. The police department strives to work very closely with residents to maintain a safe and secure community. The recreation program provides activities for young and old. The conveniently located Senior Center on Route 522 provides a safe and fun environment for older residents to enjoy.

In addition to offering a high quality of life, the township is host to several industrial and commercial enterprises such as Dow Jones, Barnes & Noble and Canon.
